Wow has it been a long time.........I kinda forgot I had a journal. I'm updating out of sheer boredom. There are only 2 days left in Spring Break and I still haven't finished that stupid book for Mrs. Armstrong's class. Let's see what has happened since November in my life?? I hate my job........a lot. I hate school......a lot. I hate everything......a lot. I'm just so apathetic towards everything, including finishing this journal, so.........

Wow it has been a really long time since I updated last. I've been really busy with work and school so I haven't had much time. I got accepted to Purdue last month so I'm actually going to go to college. Yay!!
I'm so over high school. I can't wait until graduation. Yesterday as I was walking around school I realized that I strongly dislike most of the people there, and I will be extremely happy when I never have to see them again.
Oh yeah, President Bush got re-elected a couple of weeks ago too. Of course I was upset about it, but I wasn't as mad as I thought I'd be. I guess it's probably because I knew he was going to win so it didn't come as a shock to me when he did. Oh well, this just means that he can't run again (thank goodness), and Hilary or Evan Bayh will be running in 2008 which will make me very happy.
Well I'm gonna make like a banana and split!

Yeah so I'm at work right now, I'm working as a greeter and I am really bored. I still have four more hours to go. This is never going to end, I swear. Well anyway, this morning I got up as my parents were leaving to go watch Brandon play at Indiana State (Brandon, by the way, is my brother's roommate and the punter on Indiana State's football team). My sister went to go spend the night at my grandparent's house, so no Kelsey tonight and tomorrow. YAY!!
I really don't know how Cindy can handle this. Well at least she has Judy to talk to, I'm here all by myself. I gotta go and pretend like I'm doing something. Adeiu!

I was in such a good mood today. Mainly because the Colts won yesterday and Allison Janney won an Emmy for "The West Wing" (notice the icon in honor of her win). I know it's really lame to get so excited over something as stupid as someone I've never met winning an Emmy, but I just can't help myself. I really didn't expect her to win and when she I did I was so shocked and excited.
Well, anyway, moving on to more important matters. As many of you know the Freshies and Sophomores are taking ISTEP tomorrow, wednesday, and thursday, which means only 3 people in my second period class. I'm really excited about it.
Work today wasn't that bad. Cindy was working and I went to visit her and Judy (Judy is the coolest person ever, by the way) which made the evening go faster, so it wasn't so bad.
Well gotta go and study for my math test. Adios!

The weekend is finally here!! My parents and sister are going to Greensburg for her softball tournament all weekend, so I get the house all to myself. Yay!!
Last night at work I got beat up. Not really, but it sounds better than telling everyone that I ran into an ER bed (I have a giant bruise on my arm to show for it too). Jacque told me to tell Mr. Trout that I got my bruise because my parents beat me because he told me he was going to give me a C. He thought it was funny and then told me was was going to call Child Protective Services. I'm pretty sure he was just kidding about that, though. I hope.
I opened up a bank account today, too. I feel so special and official. I have checks and everything.

I am so stressed out right now. As many of you know, somebody has been vandalizing my car for the past week. When it first happened last Tuesday my neighbors were outside and got an id of the car. When I found out what happened on Wednesday (my neighbor took off the bumper sticker they put on my car, so I didn't even know anything had happened until he told me) I had a pretty good idea of who did it. Well Sunday night they paintballed my car and last night they egged it. My dad is afraid that they are going to do something else so he called the cops today. When my dad talked to my brother today and told him the id of the car, my brother knew who the car belonged to, its a good friend of the person who I think has been doing it. So my dad said if it happens again he is going to give the cops the boys' names and he wants to have them charged with vandalization and stalking (which my dad's cop friend said they could be charged with). I really hope they stop, though, and maybe they'll read this before tonight (I know that one of them reads my journal) so no one gets in trouble because I just want this to stop and if it doesn't it is going to go on forever. Okay well I'm done for now.

I had the best time at work today. I seriously love my job. This morning I got to see a gallbladder that had been removed from someone because they had so many gallstones. It was the coolest thing, there were over 1,000 gallstones and they looked like little black beads. After that we transferred a few patients and stuff, but we got a lot of down time to just sit and talk.
After work I went to school and got my schedule. It is:
1.Nutrition & Wellness- Beerbower
2.Mass Media- Hatton
3.Finite Math- Mcaffe
4.English Lit.- Trout
5.Psychology- Stucker
6.Yearbook- Hatton
7.Study Hall- Rector
I have both government and econ 2nd semester which sucks, but at least I get to have Mr. Berry for government.
Oh, to all my yearbook amigos, are you guys going to the metting on monday? Let me know if you guys are becuase I don't want to be the only one going.

As you all can see I changed my icon. I spent an hour yesterday looking for icons and found some really good ones. I've decided to change my icon every few days or so because I like all of them so much that I can't decide which one to use.
So today I started orientation at work and it is the worst thing ever. Orientation for my job is a lot more involved than normal orientations because it deals with dying people (well most of them anyway). I had to take these tests on the computer for like three hours straight. My eyes started to blur from staring at the screen for so long. Other than that it was okay, but I have to work every day until school starts except for saturday and Sunday.
Tomorrow night is the Gavin DeGraw concert at the Vogue. I just wanted to express my outrage at the fact that you have to be 21 to get into the concert. Every time I hear the promo for it on the radio it makes me want to cry. Boo-hoo!

I am so depressed. I just read some very bad news. Not only are the people at NBC delaying the season premiere of "West Wing" until October 20, they might cancel the show after this season. How can they do this? I mean "West Wing" is the only show that wins them Emmys and just because the ratings are a little down they want to cancel it. What they should do is bring Aaron Sorkin back. If they do cancel it and Josh and Donna are not together, someone is going to get a very nasty letter from me.
Well anyway, moving on, I start work tomorrow. Yay for me. I have to work from 8:30 to 4:30 everyday this week which means that I am going to miss registration for school. Oh well. I'm kind of excited about school this year because we are finally seniors but I still don't want to go back. Well I gotta go to Wal-mart so I can buy school stuff.

I'm here at Ball State bored to death because Kayla is doing all of the work. We have a theme for our yearbook which is good. I wanted to share this conversation that Kelsey Cupp, Katy Hobson, Kayla and I had on Tuesday.
Kelsey- "Blow-up dolls are politically correct. I mean platonically correct."
Me- "You mean atomically correct."
Kayla- "It's anatomically correct you guys."
I just wanted everyone to see how smart Kelsey and I are. Okay I gotta go to staff meeting. See you all when I get home. Ciao!

I had the most boring weekend of my life. Friday I woke up at 11:00 and turned on CNN like I do everyday. I forgot that Ronald Reagan's funeral was Friday, and I was going to try to not watch it because I thought that the press was covering it just a little too much. Well, I ended up watching it all day long, I got sucked in and was engrossed all day long. I really enjoyed Ron Jr.'s jab at Dubya in his eulogy, it made me laugh. Anyway, back to my weekend, I spent Saturday and Sunday doing absolutly nothing, like always.
As I am sitting here I am listening to my sister and her friend play mad libs. After my sister had filled in the blanks for her friend, she wanted to give the words to make the story so she said to her friend, "Oh, do me." I couldn't stop laughing and my sister just stared at me like she does when I use big words that she doesn't understand.
Well, I think I am going to go watch "Runaway Bride" because I am bored.

I just wanted to vent about something that really bothers me. As many of you know I am not a Republican (it is kind of pointless being a Democrat here in Brownsburg because the Republican to Democrat ratio is like 99:1). Well anyway, I really hate when people of either political party attack members of the other party, without respecting their opinions. I mean we live in the USA where the first amendment guarantees our right to freedom of speech and expression, people really shouldn't go around attacking others for not believing what they believe in. I think that you should have enough tact to say "I don't agree with your opinion, although I do respect it." Not everyone is going to agree with you, so stop attacking the people who don't and show them some respect.
I was reading someone's journal and it really made me mad so I felt that I needed to express my opinion and now I am finished.

Yay!! I am done with school woo-hoo!! I still have to go back for yearbook, but I don't really want to. I think I really need a break from yearbook for a while because whenever I'm in that class I'm in a bad mood. It's been going on for a while too, so it isn't just my feelings of anger toward Ms. Hatton. Oh well, hopefully it will be finished soon. On friday I'm going to see Harry Potter and I am soooooo excited!! Everyone should come to my brother's open house on Saturday from 5-9pm so I don't have to be bored.

Everyone has to watch the 5:30 news on channel six because my dad is going to be on it. If you're wondering why my dad is on the news I'll tell you. This exciting tale begins last monday, may 17. My sister was at her friend Taylar's house on the other side of the neighborhood. My sister, Taylar, and Taylar's older sister were all on the trampoline when some guy walked into their yard and asked if he could take pictures of them "having fun". Well, Taylar went inside to get her dad, who then called the police. So the police came out, but the guy was already gone and they couldn't do anything about it. Then yesterday some guy was selling magazines in our neighborhood. Our neighborhood has a no soliciting policy and with what happened on Monday, someone called the cops to have this guy checked out. Well as it turned out, not only did this guy not have a license to sell magazines, he was wanted for murder in Georgia!! So channel 6 was at Taylar's house when I dropped my sister, Taylar, and Taylar's sister off after going to the movies. (We saw 13 going on 30 by the way which was sooooo cute!) Well that's the very interesting story about how my dad got on the news.

The West Wing [19 May 2004|04:24pm]
In honor of the season finale of "The West Wing" tonight I thought I would share some of my favorite quotes from West Wing.

"I'm a madwoman, CJ, and it doesn't stop with the leak... Call the authorities. Send them to my parents' house in Madison... They'll find the Lindbergh baby in the basement... Also some post-its reminding me where I put Jimmy Hoffa... I framed Roger Rabbit." -Donna

"No, I'm very upset. I don't know the words to my national anthem. I've been throwing out Canadian pennies my whole life. I've been making fun of the Queen -- We don't do that." -Donna (on finding out she was actually born in Canada)

"No, I didn't mean that you have no social skills, Toby. I'm sorry if you think I was being insensitive to your... I... I think you're very-You're a very pretty girl, Toby." - C.J.

"I always knew the day would come when Sam would start selling off entire states. I was just hoping he'd start with Delaware." - Josh

"I do not have a racial problem! I'm Spencer Tracy at the end of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner." -President Bartlett

Well that's it for now because I have to go do homework.

Tonight is the season finale of "The West Wing", I know you all are really excited because I am!! Josh & Donna forever!!

I love half-days of school. Especially when they are on Friday. After school today, Jacque, Amber, Alisha, and I went out to lunch and then to the mall. We went to Gray Bros. for lunch and it was so good. I probably gained like twenty pounds but I don't care. Now I'm home, though, and I'm really bored, as usual. Tomorrow I'm getting my hair highlighted and I'm kind of nervous. Oh well, I'm sure it will be okay. I hope.

This week is going really slow so far. I can't believe it's only Tuesday. I've gotten a lot of work done, though. I finished reading The Great Gatsby today, and I finally finished all of my yearbook spreads. Oh yeah, that reminds me, Kayla if you are reading this, get your paper signed!! I'm really excited about Prom. It's less than two weeks away!! On Saturday I'm having my hair highlighted and cut so that it is a prettier color for Prom. My hair is such an ugly color that I'm excited about getting it highlighted. Well my spanish homework awaits... Adios mis amigos!!
